Bitcoin (BTC) weer boven $11.200, Mike Novogratz verwacht consolidatie
Bitcoin (BTC) beweegt sinds donderdagavond tussen de $10.500 en $11.500 zone. De prijs van één bitcoin (BTC) is op dit moment door de $11.200 gebroken en staat op $11.252. In retrospectief: BTC is de afgelopen drie maanden 170% gestegen. Beleggers vonden het tijd om de afgelopen 24 uur winst te pakken.

De prijs van BTC dook in korte tijd van $13.700 naar $12.200 tot $10.400. Sindsdien krabbelt de koers weer enigszins omhoog. Terugblikkend op de winst die BTC heeft gemaakt, lijkt een correctie een logisch gevolg van de run van de afgelopen drie maanden. De correctie ging echter vrij abrupt.

Mike Novogratz en consolidatieslag
Volgens Mike Novogratz, oprichter van investeringsfonds Galaxy Digital gaat de prijs consolideren tussen de zones $10.000 en $14.000. Persbureau Bloomberg meldt dat Novogratz afgelopen woensdag ook weer wat bitcoin heeft verkocht.
Ook hij ziet de Libra munt van Facebook als één van de aanjagers van de afgelopen BTC rally. Hij oordeelt mild over Facebook:

Zodra bitcoin daalt, zijn sommige commentatoren er snel bij om twijfel te zaaien over bitcoin, zoals goudbelegger Peter Schiff.
The idea that Bitcoin is just like gold is utter nonsense. Bitcoin is nothing like gold. It’s fool’s gold. There is not a single use case where Bitcoin can be used as a substitute for gold. Plus the gold price never falls by over 25% in less than 24 hours!
