Update: Bitcoin (BTC) daalt onder $5.500, altcoins staan fors in het rood

Bitcoin update 10.00 uur - De koers van bitcoin (BTC) is vanochtend door de $5.600 grens gebroken, maar trekt zich nu terug onder de $5.500. De koers op moment van schrijven is $5.480. Op 18 december 2018 had bitcoin met $3.148 het dieptepunt, sinds 2019 is BTC met 43% gestegen. Een golden cross patroon heeft zich gevormd: gaat BTC stijgen richting $6.000? Dit bullish breakout patroon is sinds 27 oktober 2015 niet meer voorgekomen. Analisten zijn nog voorzichtig en wijzen op een ander koerssituatie in vergelijking met vier jaar geleden.

Wat zeggen analisten op Twitter over bitcoin? Analist Omar Godbole van Coindesk bevestigt ook het golden cross patroon, maar waarschuwt gelijk:

Ook Crypto Michaël wijst op een gebrek aan volume op dit moment en is voorbereid op een correctie.

"Altcoins stijgen niet meer mee"
Altcoins staan deze woensdagochtend in het rood. Diverse analisten zien ze voorlopig niet herstellen. Teddy Claps ziet de altcoinmarkt het zwaar hebben totdat BTC de $6.000 bereikt.

Ook Luke Martin ziet dat alts niet meer per definitie meestijgen met bitcoin.

Generally speaking most alts had positive corr with Bitcoin's moves for the past 5-6 months.
Relationship changed right after the $1k $BTC breakout.
